Frugal Wife

Why is it called Frugal Wife?

So… why Frugal Wife? When I think about the 2 words that would best describe me it would be: frugal and wife.

I am a fairly frugal person. I come from a large family of “penny-pinchers” and as such learned from my parents and extended family quite a bit about being financially responsible. We like to get the most out of our money. If anyone knows those of Dutch-decent that live in the Midwest United States, then they know what I’m talking about.

I’m also a wife. I describe myself as such because the term wife encompasses so many different areas. When I think of being a wife, it mostly revolves around caring for my family, friends, and home.

What are you going to write about?

I’m mostly going to focus on those items that interest me. I’m going to try to keep the content original. I don’t want to be another of those blogs that link to another blog which links to another blog which links to the article. You’ll probably see some financial advice, some recipes and anything else that I’m interested in enough to write about. I’m not a very proficient writer so updates will probably be fairly sporadic. I could say it would happen once a week but if I’m truthful I’ll be lucky to do it once a month.
